|This is my private film history website. I'm mainly interested in fantastic film, and the history of German film in the period after the First World War. Out now is my book on THE CABINET OF DR. CALIGARI. I'm working as a freelance writer, editor, and lecturer for institutions such as the German film institute, Frankfurt, CineGraph, Hamburg, and the Deutsche Kinemathek, Berlin. Also, I'm writing comic books. Earlier, I have been teaching logic, film history und analysis. I used to work as an editor for filmportal. I have studied philosophy and German language & literature at University Bremen. I was born in 1967 in Bremen as well where I'm still living.
