ABSTRACT

Fritz Lang, the most famous German film director, and arguably one of the directors whose style is immediately recognizable, helmed fans' and critics' all-time favourites METROPOLIS (1927) and M (1931). Unfortunately, little is known about his early career and films. We try to find out more about his work before DER MÜDE TOD (1921).
